The VWR Universal Carousel Pipette Stand stores and holds pipettes in style, accommodating up to 8 single-channel, 4 multi-channel, or a combination of both pipettes. Its sleek and modern design securely holds virtually every known brand of pipette in the marketplace, making it truly "universal". The inserts on the upper holders can be added or removed to accommodate different pipette widths. One-handed removal or placement of pipettes is made easy with a rotating head and stable weighted base. This stand offers several convenient features: pipettes are held in a vertical position to help prevent contamination; the stand head can be conveniently rotated to select or store pipettes; and it has a quick-grip handle for moving the stand (loaded or unloaded). Although the unit is not autoclavable, it can be cleaned with soap and water or common laboratory disinfectants. Made of ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), this clear-colored stand features eight upper holders and eight lower holders, with dimensions of 6.2/9 x 16.1 inches (158/229 x 418 mm; base width/top width x height).
