The VWR Traceable Logger-Trac Temperature Datalogger is an ideal tool for monitoring materials in transit, featuring a variety of intuitive user-programmable features and functions. Active LCD display technology allows the duration (cumulative time) of temperature excursions to be viewed on the display immediately, without the need to download data. The device is reusable and reprogrammable.
The LCD display shows the running alarm tally based on the acceptable temperature range and recording interval. The alarm tally is incremented when the reading goes outside the acceptable temperature parameters during the recording interval and continues to increment if the temperature remains outside the acceptable parameters during the following interval. Quarantine notification can be set by the user to display "QUARANTINE" once the alarm tally reaches the maximum number acceptable (from 1 to 99). This notification instantly alerts the user that detailed data analysis is required for the material being monitored.
The internal flash memory stores 7,680 readings. To ensure no data loss, the thermometer stops logging data once the memory is full (data will not be overwritten). While recording, the following information is displayed: current temperature, minimum and maximum temperatures achieved, and cumulative running time. Once an alarm condition occurs, the following additional information is displayed: Alarm Tally, "ALARM" notification, and cumulative alarm time. If a quarantine condition occurs, the following additional information is displayed: "QUARANTINE" notification (replacing the "ALARM" notification), and an alarm icon.
Measuring only 2.56 x 1.34 x 0.35 inches and weighing just 0.65 ounces, this device is the perfect solution for monitoring materials in transit, as well as reagents, clinical samples, vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and food items in any location. The waterproof design (IP66) eliminates concerns when located in damp environments or areas that require washing down. For complete flexibility, the user-defined recording interval can be set based on the number of desired days to log (from 4 hours to 365 days) or the desired time interval (from every 2 seconds to every 24 hours).
The user may select the acceptable temperature parameters (high and low temperature values) in 1-degree increments. The cumulative alarm duration timer is started each time the reading goes outside of the acceptable temperature parameters, providing a total excursion time since the start of recording.
This device features active LCD display technology, user-selectable parameters and functions, multiple alarm notifications, and a compact, lightweight, waterproof design.
An individually numbered Traceable certificate is provided, assuring accuracy from an ISO/IEC 17025 (1750.01) calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. It indicates traceability to standards provided by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Individual Logger-Trac Thermometers are pre-programmed with alarm values of 2°C (low) and 8°C (high) and a recording interval, allowing for 30 days of recording (readings are logged every 5 minutes, 33 seconds).
The device is supplied with batteries and a Traceable certificate. Optional accessories include Logger-Trac Sleeves, designed to keep dataloggers safe during transportation, and the Logger-Trac Cradle-Cable, which enables batch programming for up to eight units and downloads data from the Logger-Trac Temperature Datalogger into the MaxiThermal software program. The MaxiThermal Software is designed for complete data analysis. All accessory items are sold separately.
