Innovative timer talks, times up, counts down, and tells time of day with traceable precision. Unique "thru-zero" feature allows alarming, counting up, and counting down from 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds with one-second resolution. The large 1.3 cm (½") high display and LCD digits continuously show the time remaining. During countdown, voice reporting frequency is every hour until the last hour is reached, then every 10 minutes until 1 minute is reached, then every 10 seconds until 10 seconds is reached, and finally every second. The timer also announces elapsed time since alarming. A time-out mode stops the timer for "off" periods for both up and down timing. In clock mode, the timer announces the time of day. The magnetic backing allows placement of the timer on lab refrigerators or incubators. You can stand the timer on a lab bench using the flip-open easel or clip it to a clipboard using the spring fastener. This product comes with several features, including Traceable precision, talking and counting up and down capabilities, and magnetic backing for convenient mounting. A serial-numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The unit is supplied with two 1.5 V silver-oxide batteries for continuous two-year use. The product's dimensions are 6.4 × 8.3 × 1.3 cm (2½ × 3¼ × ½"), and it has an accuracy of 0.01%.
