This fine instrument is designed for determining the radius of curvature of spherical surfaces, such as mirrors and lenses. Its micrometer screw is graduated to measure displacements as small as 0.01 mm. The instrument features two brass plates and three steel legs, and a flat glass plate is provided for support while taking precise readings.
