Pack of 10 spare 100% round cotton wicks. Each wick measures 0.15" in diameter. Wicks are unprimed and lead-free. Works by soaking ethyl alcohol up the wick and lighting with a match or lighter. A change of fuel type requires a change of wick. Used to produce an open flame. When using with an alcohol lamp, wicks produce a cooler flame than a propane or butane burner.Designed for use in a laboratory as flame remains sufficient for performing standard molecular biology and sterilization procedures. Also great as replacement wicks for use in Tiki torches, oil lamps, alcohol lamps (Eisco Labs - CH0533), citronella lamps, paraffin oil lamps, camp fuel lamps, etc. Or for use with plants and hydroponics as an automatic watering device system.How To:Use with denatured alcohol as fuel (with alcohol content of 95% or higher).Trim wick to no more than 2cm.Use under the supervision of an adult.Never leave flame unattended.
