Apatite is one of the few common phosphate minerals. While it is often found as an accessory mineral in igneous rock, it can also be found as concretions or detrital clasts in sedimentary rocks. Each specimen is carefully selected and hand-processed by an actual geologist to ensure that each sample exhibits its defining features. Our rock and mineral samples are sourced from a variety of locations around the world and processed locally in Victor, NY. Each specimen sample is individually packaged in a transparent bag and labeled with a barcode for easy identification.
