Details

Specifically detects DNA polymerase II subunit A clone: 9F11.1 in Human samples, and it is validated for Western BlottingDNA polymerase epsilon catalytic subunit A (EC 2.7.7.7; UniProt Q07864; also known as DNA polymerase II subunit A) is encoded by the POLE (also known as CRCS12, FILS, POLE1) gene (Gene ID 5426) in human. DNA polymerase II is one of the six known mammalian template-directed DNA polymerases. It is composed of two subunits (261kDa and 59kDa). The larger catalytic subunit is a B-type polymerase family member, containing polymerase and intrinsic 3'-5' exonuclease activities in its N-terminal part and a putative zinc-finger domain in its C-terminus. POLE gene mutations are linked to colorectal cancer, facial dysmorphism, immunodeficiency, livedo, and short stature.
