This traditional induction coil is capable of producing a spark with an input of 6 to 12 V DC, making it ideal for use with vacuum tubes, eudiometers, etc. The coil features a fully adjustable vibrator system and spark suppression capacitors housed in the base. A pair of pointer electrodes are supplied with the instrument, each having an insulating handle for adjustment of the spark gap. Low-voltage input is via a pair of mounted 4 mm sockets. The induction coil has a 30 mm spark gap and can produce pulses of high-voltage current. It measures 6.75" long, 10" wide, and 6.5" tall, while each pointer electrode measures 5" long.
