The traditional induction coil produces sparks with an input of 6 to 12 V DC, making it ideal for use with vacuum tubes, eudiometers, and similar devices. The coil features a fully adjustable vibrator system and includes spark suppression capacitors housed in its base. A pair of pointer electrodes is supplied with the instrument; these electrodes have insulating handles that allow for adjustment of the spark gap. Low-voltage input is via a pair of mounted 4 mm sockets.
