This wide range of combined-form hydrometers is used in the food and beverage, and other industries to measure % sucrose by weight in various ranges from 0° to 61° Brix. They include a convenient, built-in thermometer with a temperature scale of 0/50°C. Caution: Combined form hydrometers should be stored in a clean, dry, safe place, and should not be subjected to extreme temperatures. Enclosed thermometers should be used as a general reference only. For temperature critical applications, a calibrated standard thermometer is recommended.

You will receive a protective box to ship your instrument to Avantor's certified calibration laboratory along with a work order form to specify your calibration points and prepaid return shipping label. Upon receipt at the laboratory, your instrument will be inspected for any defects under a microscope, and the performance of your instrument will be compared to certified standards and corrections to one-tenth of the smallest division recorded on your signed calibration report.
