This 6cm Büchner funnel features straight sides and a fixed perforated plate made of glazed porcelain. It is designed for filtration, which involves separating solid matter from fluid. Please note that filtration paper is required but not included; we recommend using 5-5.5cm filter paper. To prevent initial leakage, moisten the filter paper with a liquid before use. The funnel measures 4.5 inches tall and 2.6 inches wide, with an inner diameter of 2.4 inches and a 2-inch long spout. It is often used in combination with a Büchner flask (CH0422C01), Büchner ring, and sinter seals.
