This 30cm Büchner funnel features straight sides and a fixed perforated plate made of glazed porcelain. It is designed for filtration, which involves separating solid matter from fluid. Note that filtration paper is required but not included; it is recommended to use 28.5-29cm filter paper. To prevent initial leakage, moisten the filter paper with a liquid before use. The funnel measures 14 inches tall and 11.8 inches wide, with an inner diameter of 11 inches and a 4.8-inch long spout. The spout's inner diameter is 20mm, and its outer diameter tapers from 50mm to 30mm. This Büchner funnel is often used in combination with a Büchner flask, Büchner ring, and sinter seals.
