Details
Here is the corrected text: Set of 12 Raw Fluorite Specimens, 1" in length. Fluorite can be transparent or occur in a variety of colors, such as purple, green, and blue. This common mineral is found in both carbonate and hydrothermal rocks. It's perfect for hands-on lessons in hardness, as well as the fickle method of identifying minerals by color. Additionally, it serves as an excellent example for lessons in cleavage, as it has four perfect planes of cleavage. While each specimen will vary slightly in shape, size, and color, they are individually packaged, labeled, and barcoded for easy identification and storage. Selected and processed by a geologist, each specimen is hand-picked to exhibit defining features. Our rocks and minerals are sourced from various locations around the world and processed by hand in Victor, NY. If you need additional information or have questions about our rock and mineral samples, feel free to reach out to our team of scientists and geologists for technical support.
