VWR Collection dishes are vacuum gas plasma treated to ensure consistent cell attachment and growth. The dishes are optically clear, making them suitable for microscopy.
The highly hydrophilic surface offers a significant advantage over traditional cell culture surfaces. The surface treatment can improve cell spreading and attachment, making it suitable for cells that may adhere poorly due to cell phenotype, stressful culture conditions, or those that normally require additional biological coatings for attachment.
These dishes are either vacuum-gas plasma or corona treated for consistent cell attachment and growth. Non-treated cell and tissue culture dishes are ideal for applications where cell attachment is not desired.
The dishes feature a clear PS construction, are sterile, and certified non-pyrogenic. The flat bottom and uniform wall thickness ensure the dishes are distortion-free. Stacking rings facilitate easier stacking and handling, while 60, 70, and 100 mm dishes have a gripping ring incorporated into the design. Every inner bag is printed with a batch number for traceability.
The dishes are manufactured in a 100,000-grade cleanroom environment and packaged in resealable self-standing bags, allowing them to remain upright and reducing the risk of contamination.
