These 2-mil polypropylene bags are engineered to meet the most demanding regulatory specifications worldwide. They exceed the 480-gram tear test as defined by ASTM D1922 in both length (MD) and width (TD) directions. These high-strength bags are ideal for hazardous waste collection and decontamination in an autoclave. Bags are formulated to withstand stress at the side seams and are strong enough to hold items in the laboratory. The bags are red and are available printed with a black biohazard symbol or plain. The printed bags also read "Infectious Waste" and feature a temperature indicator patch. All bags are autoclavable to 135 °C (275 °F).
