Radio-Controlled Atomic Clocks are extremely accurate to 1/10000 of a second. They automatically adjust for AM/PM, 24-hour time, day/date, and daylight saving time via radio signal. These clocks are ideal for recording the receipt of samples, noting the exact time an event occurred, supporting documentation, providing a standard for a location's other clocks, maintaining ISO 9000 certification, and for numerous occasions when knowing the exact time is immensely valuable. Each Traceable Product comes with an individually numbered Traceable Certificate, ensuring accuracy from an ISO/IEC 17025:2017(1750.01) calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. This certificate indicates traceability of measurements to the SI units through NIST or other recognized national measurement institutes (NMI) that are signatories to the CIPM Mutual Recognition Agreement. Each product undergoes an intense vetting process before it can carry the Traceable name, saving time and money by eliminating the need for separate calibration. The clock features a temperature range of 23 to 122 °F (-5 to 50 °C) with a resolution of 0.1 °C. The clear display with an elegant acrylic lens shows a resolution of 1 second, displaying time, calendar, and weekday. It also reads indoor temperature (°C/°F), offers an alarm and snooze function, and features an amber LED backlight for daytime use and an auto-night light function for night viewing. A NIST-traceable calibration certificate with data is included. The Mini Bench-Top Atomic Clock requires two AAA batteries for operation, while the standard Bench-Top Atomic Clock requires two AA batteries. The VWR Traceable mini bench-top atomic clock has a 1-second resolution and measures 6.35 × 6.35 × 2.5 cm (2.5 × 2.5 × 1"). The VWR Traceable bench-top atomic clock also has a 1-second resolution and measures 10.16 × 7.62 × 3.175 cm (4 × 3 × 1¼").
