Hot Wire Anemometer with a miniature glass bead thermistor provides greater precision at low air velocities, eliminating friction errors caused by rotating vanes.
The data acquisition system accessory includes a PC cable and software for displaying and downloading readings directly to your computer. The system comes with a 91.4 cm (36") serial cable with a D9F computer plug, a diskette, and four AA alkaline batteries. The data logger accessory captures and stores up to 8000 readings in the field, which can be downloaded later to any PC for viewing. Readings can be taken at intervals from 1 second to 99 hours. Data files can also be read by spreadsheets, databases, and statistical programs.
Ideal for controlled environments, this unit features five air velocity measuring ranges. The memory function recalls high/low readings, and a data hold button freezes the display to capture readings. A serial RS-232 output allows connection to a computer or data logger for monitoring results.
Key features include memory functions, five air velocity measuring ranges, and Traceable certification.
A serial-numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory, indicating instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
Supplied with a dual thermistors probe, 102 cm (40") cable, certificate, six AAA alkaline batteries, and serial computer output. Optional data acquisition system, data logger, and 115V AC adapter are sold separately.
This Hot Wire Anemometer/Thermometer has dimensions of 17.8H x 7.6W x 3.2D cm (7 x 3 x 1 | 1 | / | 4 | ") and weighs 269 g (9.5 oz.). The speed resolution is 0.1 m/sec, 0.1 km/hr, 1.0 ft/min, 0.1 mi/hr, or 0.1 knots, with an accuracy of ±1% full scale plus 1 digit. The temperature range is 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F), with an accuracy of 0.8°C and a resolution of 0.1 from 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F).
