Human liver paraffin sections are made of freshly harvested tissues, fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin, and processed for paraffin embedding. Blocks are sectioned at a thickness of 5microns and mounted on positively charged slides (2-4 sections per slide depending on tissue size).
