Self-contained anaerobic systems featuring the exclusive BBL room temperature catalystGasPak products are utilized for the generation of anaerobic, microaerophilic or CO2-enriched atmospheres. The generation of these atmospheres is achieved either with gas-generating tablets or with iron powder and inorganic carbonate. In either method, the reaction takes place within a container designed for this purpose. An indicator is placed in the container to indicate when anaerobiosis is complete.Larger jar holds up to thirty-six 100 mm style Petri dishes.
