Details
Here is the corrected product description: Cell and tissue culture flasks are ideal for cell growth and cell yields. These flasks are designed for use in applications where cell attachment is not desired. They offer an operating temperature range of -20 to +50°C (-4 to +122°F). Two different cap styles can be used in both open and closed systems. The flask surface is flat and free from striation to maximize usable growth area. The innovative angled neck design offers good pipet and cell scraper access, and a special area near the neck allows for easy marking and writing. The flasks are available with five different volume ranges: 50 ml, 250 ml, 600 ml, 850 ml, and 1 L. They feature a triangular top with a wide base that provides stability, as well as a protruding ridge on the back side of the flask that facilitates stacking. Engraved graduations are located on multiple sides of the flask. The flasks have been strictly integrity tested, sterilized by electron beam irradiation, and are non-pyrogenic and not autoclavable. They come packaged in durable, zip resealable, self-standing plastic bags that allow the flasks to remain upright and reduce contamination. Each bag is labeled with a Lot Number for quality traceability. The flasks meet ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2008 certification standards. Treatment options include non-treated and TC-treated (vacuum-gas plasma or corona treated) surfaces. The highly hydrophilic surface treatment can improve cell spreading and attachment, making it suitable for cells that may adhere poorly due to cell phenotype, stressful culture conditions, or those that normally require additional biological coatings for attachment.
